About BlitzKit

BlitzKit was originated as Graphic Center on April 22, 1979 in the garage of founder Bernell Taylor in Pleasant Grove, Utah. A graphics and marketing professional, Mr. Taylor first did marketing for the convenience store world thanks to a relationship with 7-Eleven Food Stores. As the small business grew, it expanded its services from promoting exclusively in 7-Eleven divisions to other chains.

In 1987 the company (then named Billyboards USA) started promoting in small chains and independent convenience stores by working with wholesale distributors; originally with Farner-Bocken Company of Carroll, IA.

By 1990, the company had expanded its promotional programs to include distributors and chains in 37 states. J. Polep Distribution Services (Chicopee MA) and Pine State Trading Company (Augusta ME) were among the first distributors to participate, and remain loyal customers today, nineteen years later. When Bernell’s son Spencer matured, he expressed interest in joining the company. So, in 2001, Spencer and Bernell formed a new company, BlitzKit, Inc. The first few years of the new business were challenging, but in 2003 business grew as Cooper-Booth Wholesale came aboard. By 2006, the company had again grown in reputation and respect in the c-store community.

BlitzKit has promoted products for virtually ALL major manufacturers found in convenience stores. Companies like Kraft Foods, Hershey USA, Cadbury/Adams, Nestle Waters North America, Mars and many more are evidence of BlitzKit effectiveness.

Bernell’s original company has changed a great deal. Today, with Spencer’s talents and education in strategic planning and effective use of technology, BlitzKit offers the most effective promotional system ever, at a cost less than half that of the original program.

BlitzKit produces CUSTOM promotional signs and services for distributors, vendors and retailers. Their experience over 30 years and network of friends in the retail environment provides excellent solutions for their clients nationwide. Current focus on growing the partner distributor network in the convenience store trade is expected to expand to grocery chains and grocery distributors.
